Why did you choose your industry?I chose it because it is ever evolving. It allows you to think on your feet. Because it's an ever evolving field and space; each client is treated differently. Why? Simple! It's because they all have different problems.
Who are your typical clients?My typical clients are small business owners, content creators, and entrepreneurs.
What do you like best about being in this industry?What I love most about this industry is the impact. Digital marketing gives you the power to turn a small idea into a global brand. Helping clients grow their audience, increase their income, and finally see the results they’ve been chasing—that’s incredibly fulfilling. Plus, it’s always evolving. There’s never a dull moment. New tools, new platforms, new strategies—it keeps you sharp & adaptable.
What are common problems you see?Overpromising and underdelivering. Too many agencies focus on vanity metrics—like likes and follows—instead of driving real results like leads and conversions. Another issue is the lack of strategy. Businesses jump into content creation without a clear game plan, which leads to wasted time and money.
What advice/tips do you have for clients?My advice to clients is simple—treat digital marketing like a partnership, not a transaction. The more clarity you provide on your goals, audience, and vision, the better the strategy we can build together. Be patient with the process—real growth takes time, testing, and consistency. Trust the data, not just your gut. And most importantly, don’t be afraid to invest in your brand. The businesses that win are the ones willing to show up consistently, stay agile, and evolve with their audience.
When is your busy season?Always. There is no down time in Digital Marketing!
What keeps you up at night?It's the thought of being able to... "Do more, learn more, and create more. The more I'm able to do, learn, and create; the more I'm able to impact the world around me in a positive way."
How do you market yourself to grow/expand your business?I treat my business like my best case study. I use the same strategies I offer to clients—consistent content, clear messaging, and value-driven campaigns. Platforms like Threads, LinkedIn, and Facebook help me stay visible and build trust. I focus on storytelling, social proof, and showing results, not just telling people I can help them.
How involved are you in the community?In every way possible. Community means everything. I give where I can and help where I can. Each one, teaches one.
What is your favorite not for profit or charity?I personally enjoy working with the folks over by Goodwill—a local Thrift Store and Donation Centre.
What advice would you give to someone thinking of getting into this business?Here's my advice: Focus on results, not just aesthetics. It's easy to get caught up in fancy designs and trendy buzzwords, but at the end of the day, clients care about one thing—ROI. Learn how to drive traffic, convert leads, and turn content into income. Start by mastering one service (like social media marketing), build a strong portfolio with real outcomes, and always keep learning.
What do you enjoy doing in your free time?I enjoy writing, listening to music, talking to family and friends, to even watching a good ole movie on Netflix.
