What was your first job in Media?
- Marketing Director at Clark Chiropractic & Wellness. Primary responsibilities: Maintain the internal marketing calendar, maintain effective external lead generation, grow the business brand, report all ROI. We increased awareness and lead generation for the business and saw tremendous growth in my time there.
What is the biggest change in marketing that you see coming in the next 2 years?
- A major shift in marketing platforms.
Why is it important for a business to hire an outside ad agency as opposed to having just an internal marketing director?
- Sometimes the internal marketing director is too caught up in the business itself. Having an agency market your business allows you to place the task in the hands of those who have an overall “birds eye” view of the marketplace and can better direct the business how and where to market.
What is one tip that you would give when it comes to digital marketing?
- Develop your marketing message. Prospects for your business should be reading about what they can achieve through your products, and not what you will do for them. It’s not about you. It’s about your customer.
